Sarria to Portomarin

These are the steps leading out of Sarria.  Today's fun was approximately 23km plus a bit more for the sightseeing. It was very foggy and rainy to begin with.

 

The ascents were plentiful and alright, the alpine climbs are more challenging, but the downhill rocky slippery pebbles were quite difficult on the knees.  I saw a teenager going backwards one difficult descent since it was so slippy.

Portomarin is beautiful, with the village enjoying beautiful views. I was so happy to get there since it was absolutely boiling! 31 degrees!
