Mount Toubkal, Morocco, Here I Come!!

Mount Toubkal is a mountain peak in southwestern Morocco.  It is 13,671 feet or 4167 meters.  Not exactly Everest but it is a popular destination for climbers and can be quite demanding. The first ascent was in June 12, 1923 by the Marquis de Segonzac.

I will be going with a qualified guide, an ice axe and a mule! 

I am now off to Verbier to resume my altitude training and on to Morocco on the 11th for 11 days.
