Kyoto
How fortunate were we to have been invited to a beautiful home in Kyoto. The photos speak for themselves. Simply elegant.
And if you are after a most memorable Korean wagyu barbecue dinner, look no further than this place.
The beef was simply delicious, amazingly tender and full of flavor. A most unforgettable dining experience.
Even if we only had time to spend a day and a half in Kyoto, we still had time to see some of the sights. Old temples and the famous Nishiki food market. (See more about Kyoto in my blog October 2014)
Buy green teas and roasted red bean teas!
We are off in a few hours so don't forget to follow us on the Kumano Kodo trek. One word of advice, before I forget. If traveling around Japan, do buy a JR train pass before leaving your country. This one or two week unlimited pass is the cheaper option of going around Japan and is only sold to foreign tourists. Order and purchase before going to Japan and save.
