Bryce Canyon

Bryce Canyon is special. Zion has a variety of interesting walks/views and is much bigger in scale, but Bryce is so unusual it’s worth a day trip.

It is nature’s art. Millions of years (about 50) of weathering and erosion has created what looks like a large man made carved temple at first view. After closer inspection of the individual formations called hoodoos, the forces of nature are evident in the individual pieces.

There is a famous rock which is called the Queen Victoria which is part of the Queen’s loop and indeed it does remind you of the Queen.

We finished the hike in the area i the morning and went on another hike in the swamp area in the pm.

A day is enough to spend in the camp .

We are off to Moab tomorrow via the scenic highway and through Capitol Reef National Park and the Goblin State Park.
