Hi World!
I should have started this blog when Liz and I walked from the Dead Sea in Jordan to Petra for charity. Here are some photos of the 100 km walk with a 1900 meter difference in altitude.
It was (in hindsight) quite a fun experience, even with sandstorms at night making you feel like someone was constantly throwing buckets of sand on your head. I believe I had sand in my body weeks later! And your skin felt like it had gone through several sessions of waterless scrubs.
The desert is beautiful, Petra is pretty impressive, it was good exercise, and we met some wonderful people to share wine with (yes, the bedouin supplied everything from wine to chocolates a la camel) under the sleeping bags so as not to inhale or swallow even more sand!
A few more less interesting experiences later (half marathon, full moonlight marathon) and some very interesting trips (China, Vietnam and around India) later, it really is time to start writing a blog! Here are some photos of our trip to Jordan.

Will continue to follow your training and the experience of the Camino itself. What an exprience it will be.
